For the ease and convenience of on-line banking, you can use the On Line Teller… this e-Business portal will allow you to access your account right from your computer at home or office.
This feature will allow you to check balances, see what has cleared your Share Draft Checking Account, transfer funds between your accounts and transfer loan payments on your account. You can even submit a request for a new savings account, a completely separate second account, and even request a new share certificate be issued from funds in your account.
Ready To Use The On Line Teller?
If you are interested in utilizing the On Line Teller, you must contact the Credit Union Office. We will establish your account access and provide you with your ID and a temporary password.
Once your access has been established and you login to the On Line Teller for the first time, you will be required to change the temporary password we gave you. When you change the password, you will be able to login to the On Line Teller whenever you want to access your account. When you change your temporary password, you also acknowledge, accept and agree to all Terms and Conditions relating to the On Line Teller... therefore, you should read the Terms and Conditions listed below before you change your temporary password and access you account for the first time.
The On Line Teller is not what is known as a real time system. We will upload a file and you will be looking at your account as of a specific date and time. When you access the On Line Teller, the login screen displays the date and time stamp of the current uploaded file. That date and time stamp also displays on many of the screens within the On Line Teller. When you conduct a transaction via the On Line Teller, you will actually see the change take place on your account within the On Line Teller... the balances you see will actually change. However, the 'Transaction Requests' that you have generated will not be reflected on your account at the Credit Union until the transaction file has been downloaded and processed. When processed, your account at the Credit Union will reflect the changes and those transactions will be in the newly uploaded file on the On Line Teller. When the transaction file is downloaded for processing, you will be unable to access your account on the On Line Teller until the new file has been uploaded.
Terms and Conditions
When you change your temporary password, you acknowledge, accept and agree to all Terms and Conditions relating to the On Line Teller.
As the account owner, you are solely responsible for the secure safekeeping of your On Line Teller ID and Password. When you login for the first time and change your temporary password, as required, the Credit Union will no longer know your password.
The On Line Teller is a secure site and connection, and no one but you will have access to your account on line without your ID and Password. Therefore, you are fully responsible for all transaction requests initiated via the On Line Teller. If you share your ID and Password with another person(s), you are granting them full access to your account and accepting full responsibility for all transaction requests initiated by that person(s).
All transaction requests initiated via the On Line Teller shall be deemed valid authorization for the transaction. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the term 'transaction' shall refer to any available option within the On Line Teller.
'Withdraw Funds' within the On Line Teller is a request for a check to be mailed. This option does not have the ability to distinguish between a check and cash request nor a request to mail or pickup the funds. A request for a cash withdrawal to be pickup up later, or for a check to be prepared for pickup, should be requested by use of the 'Contact Us' options within the On Line Teller on the Web Site.
Within the 'Account List' you can view the detail summary of your loans. However, the loan payoff listed in that summary is for informational purposes only and can not be used to issue a final payment. The payoff listed reflects the balance when the file was uploaded. If that amount is paid, there will remain additional interest that accumulated between the date of the file upload and the date the payoff check is actually received. For actual payoff information to be used when trading or sending a final payment, you must contact the Credit Union and get a valid 10 day payoff amount.
If a transaction is conducted on line, which can not be processed because of a lack of funds, an email notification will be sent to you. If the lack of funds would cause an overdraft of the account, the transaction may or may not be processed. If the transaction is processed, all normal fees will apply.
When On Line Teller access is requested, you will be asked for an email address to be used for sending urgent notifications related to on-line transactions. You must notify the Credit Union anytime your email address changes in order to receive notifications promptly.
If your monthly Share Draft Checking Statement or the Regular Quarterly Statement show transactions that you did not make, notify the Credit Union at once. If no error is reported within 60 days of the statement closing date, the account will be considered correct.
If we do not complete a transaction on time or in the correct account, the Credit Union may be liable for your losses or damages. However, we will not be liable for direct or consequential damages in the following events:
- If you are unable to access the On Line Teller because the transactions have been downloaded for processing and the new file has not yet been uploaded.
- If, through no fault of the Credit Union, there is not enough money in your account to complete the transaction.
- If you used the On Line Teller in an incorrect manner.
- If a computer you were using was not working properly.
- If the error was caused by a network system you were utilizing.
- If circumstances beyond our control, such as flood, fire or power failure, prevented the transaction.
- If funds in your account were subject to legal process or other claim.
- If funds in your account were pledged as collateral or frozen because of a delinquent loan.
- If an attempt to notify you of a problem resulted in a returned email due to invalid email address on file.
- Any other exceptions as established by PFCU.
All notices from us will be effective, and deemed delivered, when we have emailed them to your last known email address in the Credit Union's records. It is your responsibility to notify the Credit Union if you have a change of email address.
All notices from you will be effective when received by the Credit Union.
The Credit Union reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions upon which the On Line Teller service is offered. We will email you a notice prior to the effective date and also post a notice on the website Bulletin Board. Conducting an on-line transaction after the effective date will be your acknowledgement and acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
In the event either party brings a legal action to enforce these Terms and Conditions or collect overdrawn funds resulting from on-line transactions, the prevailing party shall be entitled, subject to applicable law, to payment by the other party of its reasonable attorney's fees and costs, including fees on any appeal, bankruptcy proceedings, court costs, and any post-judgment collection action fees and charges, if applicable. If there is a lawsuit, you agree that it will be filed and heard in the jurisdiction of the court of Pope County, Arkansas.
